Elf Smudge Brush

Elf Smudge Brush

Okay, I’m going to try to be nice with this post. I’m a firm believer in “you get what you pay for,” that being said, this brush was $3.00. I bought it one day just because. I didn’t need it but I felt that I should add it to my collection. This brush started shedding immediately. I only got about three uses out of it before I decided to wash/clean it. Let me just say that it hasn’t been the same since. I’m not sure what type of synthetic hair this brush is made of, but it didn’t bounce back to its original condition or anything close to it. It didn’t create a controlled look which is the result that I usually like to get when I use a smudge brush. I haven’t totally given up on Elf brushes, but I will say if I do decide to purchase another one, I will not have high expectations of it.

Have you ever purchased a brush that didn’t deliver?
